Our menu celebrates Mexican, Peruvian and other Latino heritage, blending authentic recipes with modern twists. From traditional tacos, to a live churrasco grill, and even elements of Peruvian ceviches and Nikkei cuisine; we celebrate the rich diversity of Latin American ingredients and traditions in a modern and sophisticated way.

Inspired by the way Latin American restaurants around the world celebrate their heritage through vibrant flavours, lively atmospheres, and deep-rooted traditions, Mestizo was conceived to fill a gap in Delhi’s dining scene. Despite the natural harmony between Latin zest and Indian spices, the city had long lacked a truly authentic Latin American experience.

The concept was shaped to go beyond just food - encompassing music, design, and hospitality that reflect the vibrant soul of Latin America while resonating with Indian sensibilities. Mestizo brings this vision to life - a wholesome gastronomic journey that fuses the bold, spirited essence of Latin America with the comforting warmth of Indian masalas.

With over 14 years in the hospitality industry, Chef Deepak Panjabi has mastered the art of blending bold flavors with refined technique. A graduate of IHM Hyderabad, he began his culinary journey with a deep commitment to excellence and quickly rose through the ranks, honing his skills in renowned establishments like Taj Hotels, Oberoi Hotels, Disney World Resort, Viking, Virgin Voyages, and more.

His cooking style fuses American, Mexican, Latin American, and Italian influences, always rooted in a love for fresh, locally sourced ingredients. As Executive Chef at Mestizo Restaurant, he brings innovation and energy to every plate, redefining Latin-inspired cuisine in the heart of Delhi.

Beyond the kitchen, Chef Deepak champions food sustainability, mentors aspiring chefs, and celebrates cultural fusion in food. Whether through artful tasting menus or community engagement, he exemplifies that great food is not just crafted - it’s experienced and shared.
